Student Opportunities in Social Work

Practicums/Research

The community is a laboratory for social education, so instruction occurs in the field and the classroom. As a junior and senior, you’ll serve practicums with licensed social workers in settings such as hospitals, mental health facilities, schools, nursing homes and social service agencies. In addition, you’ll experience social work through lab exercises.
