Elevating Expression: The World of Fine Arts
Develop your artistic expression and experience on stage, through exhibitions and behind the camera or curtain — across our community and in the classroom.
Deepen your connection to the arts through student organizations, groups and venues. Join with professionals to produce and perform a wide range of music and theater. View and participate in art exhibits on campus and interact with nationally respected visiting artists. Stretch your theatrical talents in creative classics and experimental plays.
On any given week during the academic school year, experience a sampling of entertaining and educational events open to the community. For the latest lineup of the following events, see the event calendar.
Robert W. Regier Art Gallery
On campus, the Robert W. Regier Gallery (located in the Luyken Fine Arts Center) features rotating exhibitions in all media from regional and national artists. Each spring, two exhibits are dedicated to showcasing Bethel’s art students.
Lectures
Bethel hosts many free lectures throughout the year. These series have brought distinguished authors, professors, performers, theologians, and artists to campus.
Music and theater
Jazz ensembles, vocal performances, operas, dramas and musicals are just some of Bethel’s fine arts events. Better yet, most of these events are free and open to the public, such as the professional-grade recitals offered by students and faculty in the music department.
Plan by checking the event calendar, then head to the News & Events page for event details.
