Admissions Process

Bethel College’s nursing program has a competitive and holistic admissions process. We accept 46 students each fall for the final two years of study. High-achieving high school students can apply for Early Acceptance to guarantee a spot after completing prerequisite courses.

Early Acceptance

High school students should apply to Bethel College and indicate Early Acceptance by March 1 of their final year. Requirements include a minimum 24 ACT score or 1110 SAT score, a 3.5 GPA, the Nursing Pre-Admission Test, two reference letters, and an interview.

General Admission

If you don’t get Early Acceptance, you can still apply after completing prerequisite courses in your first two years at Bethel. Applications include an essay, reference forms, official transcripts, ACT scores, and, if needed, TOEFL scores.

Bethel College has an exciting opportunity for nursing graduates! Each year, two Bethel graduates can continue their education through an articulation agreement with Eastern Mennonite University (EMU).

About the EMU Master of Science in Nursing Program

The EMU Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is offered online, making it perfect for working nurses who need to balance their job and education. This program helps nurses develop leadership skills for healthcare systems, multicultural settings, school nurse roles, and the nonprofit sector. Full-time students can earn their degree in as little as 24 months.
